A bat tested positive for rabies after it was found this week in Downtown Boise in front of the Owyhee Building on Main Street. Tests confirming the rabies virus came back positive Wednesday, June 18.

An assessment of the Greater Treasure Valley’s overall community health is underway, and residents in Ada, Elmore, Boise, Valley, Adams, Canyon, Gem, Owyhee, Payette, and Washington counties can participate through an online anonymous survey.
