Food Permit Renewals for 2026 runs November 1 – December 31, 2025.
- Only one license can be renewed at a time, no single-payment option for multiple locations.
- Permits that are not subject to fees cannot be renewed online. Please email or mail the signed renewal form.
- CDH will accept online renewals until Jan. 1, 2026.
Ownership or information updates?
- If the ownership has changed: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SUBMIT RENEWAL. Instead, fill out a new license application. (A license may not be transferred when ownership changes. – This includes when ownership changes from one type to another such as Sole Proprietor to LLC, Partnership to Corporation, etc.)
- If the establishment information has changed, please contact CDH to assistance.
- If no ownership or establishment information has changed (location address, etc.) then you must copy the exact information from your renewal application.
Beginning July 1, 2025, Idaho law requires CDH to verify the lawful presence of those applying for public benefits through our agency.
The programs impacted by this change are:
- WIC applicants who are not on Medicaid, SNAP, or TAFI
- Clinic services for which a sliding scale is used
- Licenses and permits for food establishments
- Licenses and permits for septic onsite, pumper and installer services
More information about the attestation forms is available on our Clinic Services, Food establishment applications, Septic applications et WIC pages.
