Health Policy & Promotion

Working to improve the health of our communities through education, policies, systems and environmental changes. Includes Fit and Fall Proof, , Central Health Collaborative, Behavioral Health Board, Tobacco Cessation and Prevention, Physical Activity and Nutrition and Cancer Prevention.




Environmental Health

Working to create and maintain healthy environments through monitoring, education, outreach and evaluating opportunities for positive healthy change.




Communicable Disease

A group dedicated to preventing the spread of disease in our community through investigation and education.




Immunizations

Offering immunizations to children from birth through age 18.




Medial Reserve Corps

Community members with all types of experience and backgrounds, volunteering to help in times of community need, including natural disasters and emergencies.




Reproductive Health

Offering wellness visits, school sports physicals, family planning, pregnancy testing, STI/HIV testing, teen clinic and more.




WIC

Women, Infants and Children supplemental nutrition program for pregnant women and families with young children who qualify based on household income.

Note: The Board of Health will meet every Tuesday at 4 p.m. via teleconference unless otherwise indicated to discuss COVID-19 developments. Regularly scheduled Board of Health meetings are also planned and are anticipated to include COVID-19 discussion as well as other agenda items.

CDH is open and offering services, including food and septic permit applications and processing, primary care clinic appointments (non-respiratory-related).
