At Central District Health, we are proud to serve Ada, Boise, Elmore, and Valley counties. Our work is rooted in a simple but important goal: helping people live healthier, safer lives.
Public health shows up in many ways. It is in the food we eat, the water we drink, the places children learn and play, and the support families receive when they need care, information, or guidance.
Our team works every day to prevent disease, respond to health concerns, offer trusted information, and connect people with services that support their health. Much of this work happens quietly, but it makes a real difference.
We know trust is earned. That is why we are committed to listening, being transparent, and working with community partners to make thoughtful decisions that reflect the needs of the people we serve.
