Immunizations help to protect our community from common communicable diseases. Central District Health (CDH) offers a full range of vaccines for children from birth through 18 years. CDH offers some adult vaccines, but does not offer travel vaccines - call us to learn more: 208-327-7400. CDH accepts most insurance, Medicaid, and offers a sliding fee payment scale. No child will be denied routine immunizations due to inability to pay.

This is an online database developed to record and track immunization dates of Idaho’s children and adults, providing assistance to keep everyone on track for their recommended immunizations. Participation in the Idaho- Immunization Reminder Information System (IRIS) is voluntary. You may opt out at any time by contacting the Idaho Immunization Program at 1-208-334-5931 to request an opt-out form. If you do not opt-out of IRIS, you/your child’s immunization records will be sent to the registry. Learn more »

VIS’s are information sheets produced by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that explain both the benefits and risks of vaccine to vaccine recipients. Federal law require that healthcare staff provide a VIS to a patient, parent, or legal representative before each dose of certain vaccines. To learn more, visit the CDC website.
