Mpox returns to Idaho: Health authorities stress importance of vaccination

IDHW and CDH announced the first two reported people diagnosed with mpox in Idaho since last year. Investigation is ongoing, but both persons reported traveling outside the state, which may be related to these diagnoses. Both people diagnosed with mpox are Ada County residents.

Health Officials Investigating Ada County Outbreak Linked to Raw Milk

Central District Health (CDH) announced today it is investigating recent reports of illness in five Ada County residents that may be associated with the consumption of unpasteurized (raw) milk. 

Central District Health Offering Flu Vaccinations and Updated COVID-19 Vaccine

Central District Health is now accepting appointments for seasonal influenza (flu) and COVID-19 vaccinations to help curb the spread of respiratory viruses.

Measles reported in Idaho resident

An adult male with confirmed measles has been reported in southwest Idaho.

COVID-19 Safety

In an effort to protect the health of our patients, staff, and community, any individuals over the age of two who have suspected or confirmed COVID-19 infection or who have symptoms including fever, sore throat, runny nose, cough, or nausea are required to wear a face mask in our clinics.

Individuals may also choose to continue masking based on personal preference and their perceived level of risk for infection.
