Next COVID-19 vaccine subgroup to open Monday, March 22 to people 55 and older; no medical condition required

Central District Health to offer upcoming vaccine learning session

CENTRAL DISTRICT HEALTH — Starting Monday, March 22, 2021, residents among the general population who are 55 years and older will be eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine. The movement to Idaho’s Subgroup 3.2 happens one week after those 55 years and older with a medical condition (Subgroup 3.1) have had priority to receive vaccine.

Group 3 focuses on specific age groups with a one-week priority given to persons in a specified age group with a qualifying medical condition as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Disabilities are also included as a medical condition. The following week opens vaccine eligibility to individuals in the specified age group, with no qualifying medical condition required (general population). Read More.
