Central District Health is governed by a seven-member board of health. Members are appointed by the county commissioners of the district’s four counties (Ada, Boise, Elmore and Valley).

Meetings & Trustee Conference Calls
The Board of Health typically meets once monthly, with a few exceptions. The Board of Health Trustees from Idaho’s seven District Boards of Health meet via conference call throughout the year.

The 2024 Idaho Association of District Boards of Health (IADBH) conference will be held on October 23 and 24.
