PREVENTION PROGRAMS
When communities, businesses, and other organizations want to implement strategies to improve the health of people, Central District Heath is there to help. We educate our partners on the leading causes of illness and death and provide evidence-based practices to improve health.
Our Health Policy Analysts and Education Specialists work with diverse community partners to establish local policies, systems, and environmental changes to combat vaping and tobacco use, increase physical activity, improve nutrition, reduce the incidence of prescription drug overdose, and educate about cancer.
