The programs impacted by this change are:
  • WIC applicants who are not on Medicaid, SNAP, or TAFI
  • Clinic services for which a sliding scale is used
  • Licenses and permits for food establishments
  • Licenses and permits for septic onsite, pumper and installer services

Board of Health

Central District Health (CDH) is governed by a seven-member Board of Health (BOH). Members are appointed by the county commissioners of the district’s four counties (Ada, Boise, Elmore and Valley).

Meetings

The Board of Health typically meets once monthly, with a few exceptions. The Board of Health Trustees from Idaho’s seven District Boards of Health meet via conference call throughout the year.

Public Comments

The CDH Board of Health is interested in hearing from you. If your comments are in response to an agenda item for a specific meeting date, they must be received 24 hours prior to that meeting in order to be forwarded to Board members for consideration. All messages will be shared with the Board and will be included in public record.

Location

At this time, all meetings of the Central District Health (CDH) Board of Health will be held via teleconference and in-person with limited seating in on-site viewing rooms. Meetings are offered for live viewing via CDH’s YouTube page. Recorded meetings post shortly after the live meeting concludes.
